02 / The problem

“Just check our Instagram.”

That might get someone interested. But can they find your services, see your work and make an enquiry without piecing everything together themselves?

Your website should bring it together.

03 / What the website needs to do

What the website needs to do

  1. 01

    Look the part.

Design that reflects your business and gives your work room to speak.

  2. 02

    Make things easy to find.

Clear pages, useful information and navigation that makes sense on a phone or a desktop.

  3. 03

    Give people a next step.

Enquire, book, buy or explore. Make the action clear and the route straightforward.

04 / Starting points

What are we building?

A focused page, a fuller business presence or something with more going on behind it. These are starting points; the scope comes from what you need.

  • Launch Site

One page. One clear purpose. Bring an offer, campaign or new business online with the information people need and a clear way to respond.

    Could include

    • Responsive one-page build
    • About 4–5 sections
    • Enquiry form
    • Search basics
    • Deployment and handover
    • And more…
  • Small Business Website

Give people the full picture. Bring your services, work and business information together in a website that helps potential clients decide whether you’re the right fit.

    Could include

    • 3–5 pages
    • Service and about pages
    • Contact and enquiry forms
    • Mobile-ready layouts
    • Deployment and handover
    • And more…

Extras and work priced per hour

05 / Connecting the services

The enquiry is only the beginning.

What happens after someone presses send?

A request can reach the right person, start a follow-up and become part of your reporting. Where those connections are useful, automation and data can be scoped into the project.

06 / After launch

Monthly Care and Support

Care covers defined maintenance, scheduled checks and monitoring. It is not reserved development time.

Support provides reserved working capacity under the applicable agreement. It is distinct from Care.

Larger or specialised work is priced at R750 per hour and quoted on the hours estimated for your scope.

Monthly Care

  • Website Care Essential

One website: uptime, SSL and domain, dependencies and backups where they apply, a form check and a monthly summary; about 30 minutes of routine work.

  • Care and Support are optional. A project doesn’t need a monthly retainer.
  • Third-party costs — such as domains, hosting, software subscriptions, licences, payment fees and usage charges — are not included unless your quote says so.
  • Abyssal is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to these prices.
